Image
“Curved Display, No Physical Buttons, True Wireless Charging”                One way to make the iPhone’s screen larger without increasing the size of the device itself is wrap it around all four edges. An artist‘s video imagines how such an iOS handset would look, with no physical buttons and an under-screen camera. This was dreamed up by Kevin Noki for   ConceptsiPhone . The description says “Forget iPhone 11 and take a look on this future 2020 year iPhone XII device with No Buttons, Wireless Charge and Hidden Camera!” Proposed iPhone XII features The designer calls the curved screen the Space Display, and proposes that icons along the edge function a bit like widgets, sliding open when tapped to reveal notifications or controls. The volume and side buttons would, of course, become virtual. Noki would like to see the iPhone’s front-facing camera under the screen, something still in development. ...

Apple Says Sorry To iPhone & iPad Users For FaceTime 'Eavesdropping' Bug - Report

San Francisco, Feb 2: Apple has apologised for a flaw in FaceTime software that allowed people to eavesdrop on others, even if they never answered a FaceTime call, the media reported. The Cupertino, California-headquartered tech giant said a fix for the bug which will re-enable the group FaceTime feature will be available to users next week, CNBC reported on Friday. Apple Eavesdropping Bug: Here's How You Can Disable FaceTime on Your Apple iPhone or iPad. Apple had originally said that a fix was coming this week. Smartphone sales are expected to rise 24% in October over last year’s festive month, which is likely propel growth in the three-month period ending December, which typically contributes about a third to annual sales of companies, say analysts.  “Online is growing faster than the offline channel for  smartphones  in October. The online channel is set to grow 30% year-on-year, while offline will grow 20%. Further, there is a 10% jump in overall handset launches over last year,” Anshika Jain, a Counterpoint research analyst, told ET. New Leak Shows Iphone 8 Performance that Crushes every Android

Image
Something fairly astonishing happened late last month. For the first time ever, an Android-powered smartphone managed to outperform Apple’s latest iPhone in a “real-world speed test.” This new type of speed test was concocted by YouTube vloggers and while it’s not scientific at all, the test is a fairly good way of judging how one smartphone’s performance compares to another in terms of handling day-to-day tasks. Apple’s iPhones have always been models of efficiency, and no Android phone had ever even come close to beating an iPhone until last month. Apple likely isn’t very concerned with the iPhone losing in some vlogger’s speed test, but the company is surely concentrating on continuing to achieve big performance gains with this year’s new iPhones. After all, new iPhones always pack a tremendous power boost compared to their predecessors. Now, a new leak suggests that the next-generation processor coming in the new iPhone 8 features incredible performance that is practica...
